Chapter 3: childbirth
Just after the consultation at the hospital, it was decided that such a case had to stay secret. Just seven doctors (the most renowned specialists) were informed. My parents and the doctors wanted to avoid a media sensation and the questions the press could have asked because no one was able to answer. The specialists were speechless. I was an enigma. From that moment, my mother had to stay at the hospital; she was confined in a room, away from prying eyes.
Each day I changed, each day I grew up. And each day I speak more. At the beginning, it was just words but it was not understandable. Then, the doctors could hear phrases. Well, I could not remember about what I was saying but we have told me that the first phrases were like a three years-old child: “I am hungry”, “I want to sleep”. Doctors have tried to talk to me, but I was not able to understand yet.
The D day finally arrived. My mother gave birth. Actually, I could relate in every details this moment because I remembered each moments, this is when I started to have conscience of my own existence. This moment symbolizes also the beginning of my problems.
